DO KOI LAY EGGS!?!?****PICTURE INCLUDED!

I have a question for you guys, do koi lay eggs? I have a koi 4 years old, about 13-14 inches long, and one other is 1 year old, not mature yet im sure. But this morning i checked, and the area if filled with EGGS! is this what they call spawn? I know that it can't be fertilzed cuz the other koi is barely 4-5 inches small, not mature yet. So these are just empty eggs right?? helppp aquariacentral!

also should i take them out?? if they are just "empty" eggs.. im afraid it will mess up the water Q..

I'd move the eggs to another tank as it doesn't matter whether they are fertilized or not, they will eat them
