Do Otocinclus poop a lot?

I'm thinking about getting a couple of these guys but I was wondering how much waste do they produce compared to the Pleco?

Nothing compared to a pleco! They are only about 2 inches full grown. Where plecos are much bigger.

No, if you ordered them and they are being shipped they will be very hungry. Make sure they have some veggies or wafers waiting for them when you get them.

They may seems to contribute more waste than other fish of similar size because they are constantly grazing. But not much bioload overall...

Oto vs Pleco? You can't even compare those two...

Probably more than 10x for Bristlenose Pleco which is one of the smallest pleco.
