Do shrimp breed in your tank?

Thanks for identifying yourself--it makes monitoring you that much easier. If any of your posts revert, I will lock the thread or delete your contributions. IME:

Do NOT put cherry shrimp and Amanos together in any large concentrations. I had 17 Amanos and 12 cherrys in a 55G about 2 months ago.

Two weeks later, not a cherry in sight. And nothing else in the tank was large enough to take out the cherrys. GL.

Sounds like Hans needs another outlet or someone to just listen to him...

Didn't catch this thread but I see the point he's trying to make. Kudos to OrionGirl for giving him a chance! We may not all be rocket scientistises or be very eloquent ( ;) ) and some may not be able to say what they intend in a generally excepted fashion (politically correct?).

Timmain42 , did you witness any of this shrimp-icide? Any links or other ppl that have seen it? I was in fact going to mix them (~7 Amano and 6 Cherry in a 90g). Could it have been something else (amanos out competing the cherry shrimp for food?) or are you fairly certain the amanos are shrimp killers!?
