Do Synodontis and cories get along.

what about pictus with cories
Bronchis and most corydoras reaching 2-3 inches are not usually a problem but the dwarf ones may either be eaten or outcompeted for food.

I have 5 Synodontis and 10 Corydoras as well as 4 striped rafaels, 4 pictus, 5 SAEs, 6 clown loaches, 4 Farlowellas, a dojo and a bristle nosed plecostomus in my 410 with no problems. There are 3 nigriventris, 6 albino aeneus and 4 julii. The nigriventris are over 6 inches. There are a lot of hiding places and plants - enough hiding places that I haven't seen all of the rafaels at one time since I put them in there over a year ago! All of the catfish types have been in the aquarium for at least a year. The Synodontis cruise all over the substrate at feeding time without bothering any of the other fish.
The fish I have seen try to swallow Corydoras in the past have been really sorry. The corys lock open those dorsal and pectoral spines and get really uncomfortable to swallow.

in my experience, my featherfin has lived with miscellaneous small bottom feeders, including cories and small loaches and he has never hurt a soul. But, he is also a very shy big guy who couldn't be tough if he tried :)

I would just make sure to have good hiding spots for everyone!
