do this work or just hype

The whole thing was debunked years ago after someone bought one and cracked it open--it is a tube of PVC with some magnets in it. The magnets weren't even particularly special, either. If the EcoAqualizer actually does anything, I don't see where it would do anything different than the suite of magnets most people have in the tank in the form of pumps and powerhead.

LOL.. are you kidding me? I would have at least thought it was a small UV sterilizer with "added magnets" for whatever reason.. at least the UV could do something positive.. but your saying it isn't even a UV light in it.. just a tube an magnets? Hmmm.. I wonder if they are the same people that sell magnets you put on your gas line in your car to "align the ions to burn fuel more efficiently". hahaha.

wow,, that is kind of funny. reminds me of my buddy who once bought some spkrs of a guy in a parking lot. when he got home and wired them up there was no sound so he took them apart only to find some bricks inside. (yes) he did look at them and removed the grills and saw spkr cones but once he tore them apart he saw only that , the baskets and cones. no magnets or voice coils on the back.

Thanks for reminding me why I never buy anything from someone off the street...lol.
