Hmmm.... Lets see. I live in the home town of Johnny Carson. His Emmy's are 3 blocks away from me. LOL

On the other side of the family, equally way back, our family owned the Meyer Diamond mine in Africa.

I once had the great grandaughter of Daniel Boone work for me as a waitress. I was doing country club work up near Boone, NC, which is named for the same pioneer, and did'nt realize he left a large family up there.
As for being physically related to someone famous... Well no. I researched my family name all the way back to 1050 A.D. or so, and the best I can come up with is, my family name means "deformed man". Kinda a let down, but I now know how to make a racoon skin hat.

then she's distantly related to me! my (about 9 greats here) uncle was Daniel Boone.
I am related to president bush, jr and sr. they are distant cousins of my grandfather.

General John Bell Hood. Cavalry General in the Civil War said to have been one of the best generals of the time. Reason on why i decided to go into the military as Cavalry too. however Cavalry of his time and my time are totally different since now we dont ride on horses and basically do the recon work for units.
