Do you people like tatooed fishes?

I don't dislike tattoo'ed fish (although they are ugly like that)... It's the people that tattoo'ed the fish I don't like!!!!!

Are they legal in the US? I've thankfully not seen one in years!

I would not frequent a fish store that sold those.

I would agree with you except almost every LFS ive been to out here carries them they had the ones with I then a heart U on some for mothers day but went back 2 months later same fish were there. In my experience if you buy other items from a store and one item sits on a shelf for to long they stop carrying them do to poor sales. I get what I need ignore what I dont need or dont like. Just my $0.02

Although I heard that Blood Parrots were once sold artificially colored at most LFS (on the west coast) at one time, before I got back into the hobby, these photos make the process clear as I have a large tattoo and cant imagine a tiny fish going though something like that. Sort of like having a 12 inch nail gun tattoo your side rather then a tiny needle. In a way I wish they would broadcast a video documentary of fish in the actual bloody process of being tattooed and even dieing to the whole world on one of the science channels so that people can get educated and stop supporting the market that drives these practices.

No, no a thousand times no. They are hideously ugly and I would never support the practice.

As for dying/tattooing blood parrots and balloon mollies, haven't people done enough to those poor fish by even breeding the malformed things? Apparently not, they must be changed even more.

They're an abomination and should be outlawed.
