I have two display tanks one FW and one SW. One is in the kitchen and the other is in my office. I spend countless hours just standing in front of both of them staring. My wife thinks I am a freak for this (among other reasons). I see people putting their display tanks in the hallway or some traffic area, not really the gathering place. Do you guys stare at your tanks endlessly also no matter what the location?

I have my SW tank in our den where the kids and all of us watch TV, chat, etc., so I do get to stare and we all comment.

MY FW tank is in the living room but not in the best location to stare at, yet I get to. I love it. I also have a 10 gallon FW in the den facing the SW. We love to stare. it's the only time you can stare and not be accused of anything serious!

I have 3. I do stare at each of them depending where I'm at.

When I get my own place at the end of august, my furniture will be in a position to where i can stare at the 240g tank I'm getting and my tv. I can't help myself, I love tv. I have to combine the sound of tv and the looks of the fish.

All three of my tanks are in the same little area in the only area I really spend time in. I find myself staring at my tanks instead of watching tv. Especially my GSP because he is right next to me when I watch tv, lol. I will also just sit in front of my SW tank on the floor and watch everyone. I find hermit crabs really really amusing for some reason

Did you say 240g???? Holy mother of nature! I can't wait to see your set up pics! Do you have a thread somewhere about this?

I sit and stare for hours on end. On the weekends, I pull my lounge chair directly in front of it, put my lap top on my lap to pretend that I am going to do work and stare at my tank instead.

Both my SW and FW show tanks are in my front room. I don't know how many movies I rented to watch and find my eyes drifting off to my tanks. My wife will catch me in this trance watching the fish and snap me back with "Are you gonna watch this movie" ..... Oh there I went agian.
