looks like he was big on the aquarium hobby and just lost interest. boat is a fixer-upper, but could be nice for fishing.

you got a pretty sweet deal though on the tank, stand and that nice wood piece over the top of the tank. alot of expensive equipment it looks like- eheim is a top brand.

my friend's dad has a boat and has been wanting to get rid of it. he said there's two happy days when getting a boat, "buying it on the first day and the day you sell it!"

pics 2 and 3 - abino oscar and tiger oscar. pics 4 and 5 - red oscars. pics 6-8 - probably some varieties of "common plecos".

Pic 2 and 3 are lutino oscar, not true albino although usually marketed as such.
Pic 6 looks like it might be a gibby pleco to me. Pic 7 definitely common, can't tell on the 3rd pleco.

How big is the tank?
Great deal considering how much you paid for the boat. Without knowing the cost of the boat it didn't seem like such a good deal.
