Do you think this gadget will work?

Why not just run it straight into your canister intake or buy a $10 Whisper in-tank filter and use that?

if i run it into something after the filter instead of into the filter there's a few things i wouldn't have to worry about finding out the hard way.
1 are my seals co2 proof?
2 will my impeller back up when gas hits it?
3 will my pump eventually stop?
4 what extra wear and tear will i pay for in the long run?
5 there's more

i wouldn't buy an in tank filter because it is in tank. now for my other tank i wouldn't care but my 50 is a different story. i don't even want my heater in there since it's in the living room and viewable from 2 sides.

Inline reactor seems like the correct choice to go with. :thumbsup:

1. you don't have to worry about the sealed pvc, the current will dissolve the CO2.
2. Your impeller will never see pure CO2 gas
3. CO2 never sees an impeller.
4. No wear and tear. As long as you don't drop it from a 2 story building it'll last forever.
5. Neatly concealed under the tank stand next to the filter and CO2 tank.

i believe that's basically what i was saying so... yes, i will have to agree. :iagree:
 
the canister reminds me of one we sell at work. i work at a tractor supply store and we have the same ones in the plumbing dept for like 20 or 30 dollars they are the whole house filters lol just caught me when i saw it lol
