Do you think you could get half of a barrel and make an outdoor goldfish home for it?

Like, you could get a half of a barrel at Lowe's or Menard's and put plastic lining in it and gravel and you can keep that as an outdoor pond for like, a shubunkin? I've seen it done by some people... Like on **************** the owner of the site posted a picture of his goldie in its half-barrel. Do you think it would be cool???

how much water does it hold? You need to also consider the filtration/plumbing for the barrel, if you are going to have plants, where you will place it, if outside, how you will winterize it, if you will bring it in for the winter or not, what will be in it possibly with the shubunkin....
