Brother has a 2002 Durango (I think that's the year) and he loved it for the first two years. After that, it has had nothing but trouble-- very expensive trouble. So whatever you choose, that would not be my first choice.

Thanks Somervell, the more I am reading I am thinking the durango is not for me!

OK, I no it will very big time, and will depend on each place....but does anyone know about how a dealership will come down on their prices? Is there a "base" amount or anything?

Dealers will usually come down a little on price but you are shopping during tax season which means they may not come down as much because alot of people use their refund on a new car.Go to www.kbb.com and www.nada.com to get an idea what the cars you like are selling for.

Ok...THANKS, going there right now!!:D

GAH! Looking at those sites, the dealerships really jack up the price! They are close to twice as much as the "average used resale"!! I'd hope they would come down.

Just low-ball the heck out of them and don't be afraid to just walk out of the dealership to 'think about it' for a couple of days and to shop around. Act unimpressed with any 'deal' they give you.
