Does anyone have a cockatiel?

Wow, that's old to be still unweaned lol! As for cages, it depends on what you want. The cadillac of bird cages are King and California Cage (I like the latter better personally), those are the Ehiems of the bird cages. They are spendier than a flimsier cage, but last forever. If you just want a basic cage, there are tons of options. For the smaller cages, look for one that is good size, easy to access, sturdy, and not round-shaped. It is easier for birds to climb on horizontal bars, but that is not essential, just nice. Most smaller cages will come with perches that are the same size around, so you will need to replace some of them for different size ones (or you can get ones that screw on with a wingnut that are branchy and made out of hard woods, generally mazinita, those are my favourite)

Here is a site that shows some different cages and reviews: http://www.epinions.com/pets-Birds-Bird_Cages-Cages-All

As for ordering, That Pet Place and Foster's and Smith have bird Catalogs along with the fish ones, so you can save on shipping. If you are getting a California Cage or similar, watch the shipping, it might be cheaper to buy one locally if the shipping is really high. Also, if you look in bird magazines like Bird Talk and Birds USA, there are lotsa ads for cages.
