Does anyone have a Giant Osphronemus Gourami?

The site that dorkfish linked lists giant gouramis as growing to around 2 feet long and has comments from people who have had them for several years in 200-250gallon tanks with other tankmates. I know that proper tank size opinions vary but why insist that an in-wall cinderblock type tank is the only option when somewhat realistically sized 235-265 gallon glass tanks will do. Also, where did 20 pounds come from? I know that they have some mass to them but 10 pounds a foot does not sound right.
The site I linked to isn't always corect, and niether is everybodys expierience. Any fish can live in any tank, if it enjoys it is what matters, take the goldfish in a 10g for example, they will live for quite a while, but I highly doubt they will enjoy it.
