Does anyone have a tank with black sand for substrate?

I have black sand and i love it. I have mbuna and it really shows off there electric blue color. IF you go to www.cichlid-forum.com they go on and on about undergravel jets (UGJ) It is a system that stops "dead spots" from forming so the crud nver lands on the sand and stays suspended until it all gets sucked up by your power filter.
 
I have Echo-Complete for planted tanks, I love it....it looks just like topsoil and is great with lots of plants. I don't have any trouble cleaning it and I don't notice that I can see all the crud...I imagine a couple of corys could take care of that anyway....I have a pair in my daughters tank and the gravel is sparkling clean all the time ...the little hoovers do a great job...lol...
