does anyone have any idea what this is? (bug related)

dont know the scientific name for em but as frigginchi said, rhe common name for em is "walking stick". you can usualy find them in the woods and anywhere its moist n shady that people dont frequent. yea those are like spiders to me.....i like spiders...good spiders...good n DEAD...rofl!

It's not a walking stick. Google one and you'll see the leg placement is not the same. Like I said, it's a Snowy Tree Cricket.

now that it has been identified,I probably heard it many times at night. Thanks for showing it and giving us an visual idea of this unique insects life.
