There is a seperate tank inside the aquarium that the fish are not allowed in. This seperate tank within the tank, contains the water for flushing. No fish can get flushed.

Even if I thought it was cool (and it's not within my personal tastes), the actual water volume is 2.2G. Too small for anything really...
