Planning and building a custom tank...
I am currently finishing plans for a custom saltwater aquarium tank/stand. It's going to be taller than wide and deep because it will be set up to operate as an intertidal system with variable water height.
The tank itself will be 1/4 inch glass, 4 ft tall, 2 ft. wide and 18 inches deep.
The price of glass where I'm buying it, precut, is $4.50/sq. ft.
The tank will be framed in with wooden 1" X 4" boards with viewable sides and front, plywood shelf with crossmember supports.

I have a Custom built tank by Oceanic. Go your local fish store they have all prices for Oceanic. However unless you are really specialized Oceanic probably already makes the size you want. 4-6 weeks for delivery.
