Does anyone use black sand?

I don't have a camera but i just bought a bag today i thought it would make my cherry shrimp stand out
go to DR.vaders profile and look at his tank. i believe that it is black sand with a mix of white in it. ive thought about the black sand before but i dont know what id put with it.
I love it - I have a 10 gallon (pics posted) with some endlers, red cherry shrimp and a few snails. I also have a 5 gallon in my office with black sand. I bought Tahitian Moon Sand.

I would love to see some pictures. I'm thinking of changing over to black or brown colorquartz in my 55 gallon but I would like to see some more pictures before shelling out the money for it
