Does Excel Harm Shrimp or Snails

I am having some issues with BBA and wanted to try Excel as a possible way to address it. Before I do I wanted to make sure it wont harm my Bamboo Shrimp or Mystery Snails.

According to Seachem it will not harm shrimp or snails. Personally i have no shrimp but I do have lots of various snails in my tanks. I have double dosed many times and it doesn't seem to have affected my snails.

I have not heard of any ill effects with Excel.

Thanks for the replies. I will try it first in the tank with no shrimp and see if it helps with the algae before I try it with the tank with the bamboo shrimp

ive read on some sites that excess amounts of excel can harm shrimps (fish 2)

use only at recommended dose...

I use it in my 10g, and Speedy the pond snail seems to be just fine.

Kinda off-topic but what exactly does excel do? Is it basically just co2 in a bottle?

I accidentally overdosed excel in my fish tank and it killed my apple snail and all of my elodea little forest I had also perished.

i used it in my ghost shrimp tank and lost several so be careful
