Does it matter where I place my lighting?

That’s what I thought. I have 6 BK’s now from Wayne Ng. They’re in the pre-teen stages. Sorry, thread jack over.
No problemo. How big a tank are your discus in? Is it community, or breed specific? I'm plannin on adding about 8-10 different strains complimented with some corys and maybe some killi's.

My discus are still in their grow out tank at 40G. They will soon be in a community 75 G tank. It'll have 100 assorted tetras or I just might go with all of one species..I'm leaning towards rummies or cardinals; some longfin plecos. I'll have one pc of driftwood with plants attached to it.

Not sure...The LFS for a few. Petkingdom most likely. I like the freshwater guy there, he knows his ****.
Otherwise, online. I saw a place in Wis. that had some nice fish and good cust. feedback.
Why? You know of a place? I am going all solids probably, but I gotta admit I like a few of those ribbon strains too.

LOL.. I thought you had the inside scoop for local discus. I personally could not find any discus of quality here locally. You can check out this operation since you are considering having your discus shipped.

Although, the discus on the New Arrivals are already sold out, he carries lines from two breeders; Tony Tan and Wayne Ng. He just shipped in his Tony Tan line and they all sold out with in 3 weeks. Both breeders have excellent strains and they have high bodies just how you like them. I like the high body as well. My BK’s are from Wayne. They’re doing great.
Give Kenny a call, he’s a great guy do deal with, excellent follow up service. At least from the website you have an idea on what he brings in. His next shipment will probably be from Wayne Ng since he tends to alternate. Put in your order early b/c they are sometimes sold out on certain strains before they even hit his tanks.
