does keeping plans make it so that you do less water changes?

Fish basically need two things to do welle: clean water and good food.

I am in the camp that says more water changes are better than fewer. They remove TDS which will build up over time as well as other things. They also replenish some things that get used up.

Until somebody can document that any given fish does better in dirtier water than cleaner water, I will stick with weekly water changes. More for fry tanks.

I give this same advice today as I did when I was 8 years old working at the Fish Gallery.
