does my socolofi have eggs in her anus?

she has looked like this for several days and i am starting to get worried. her anus is just like sticking out away from her body like a pimple. is she holding eggs there or what? should i be concerned?

Pic would help - hard to give you any useful information without one...does not sound normal. They hold the eggs in their mouth...

Thanks Coler, I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. Noob, if your fish were about to lay eggs, then it may be her ovipositor showing (I know in angels and discus they stay out for a while before and after laying, but that may be totally different for Africans). Otherwise, I would follow Coler's links and whatever advice accompanies that scary looking stuff.
