Does Prime stink?

Yeah, it's pretty nasty. I guess they get that question a lot - I just checked SeaChem's Prime page and believe it or not it's actually in their FAQ:

Q: I think that my Prime™might be old because it smells like it went bad...
A: Prime™has a very distinct odor that is similar to sulfur which is completely normal. Also, the presence of small black specks is normal.


Gave me a chuckle anyway. :) Never seen the black specks, though...
 
Reminds me of perm solution! :barf:

Yes, I will admit that I have had a perm or two in my life and the smell from the solution if Gawd Awful!
 
Every single time I do a water change on my tanks my boyfriend always says "what stinks?" And every single time I have to say "it is Prime." You would think that he would figure it out by now. LOL
