yup you're good to go.

I've cycled using lower pH.
btw, thought is now there are bacteria that can set up in more acidic conditions. in my Altum tank the pH was at one time below 6 and it showed no NH3/NH4..it takes time for that bacteria to establish tho.
the tank pH for them has been very slowly rising as I get them adapted to tap.
