I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone knows if nerites and briggs would survive if something more thorough than multiple water changes was done. If so, what do you suppose might be necessary:
Same gravel and live plants but rinsed?
Completely new gravel and live plants?
Completely new filter media?
Or is it like copper and no amount of cleaning will address the problem?
Trying to figure out how to make a snail-safe tank as I have treated several tanks with flubendazole and observed the same results as Sounguru. My tanks are not nerite/brigg safe, more than 6 months and several complete water changes after treating them.
