Done Cycle?

personally, i would be doing a large water change as you want to be getting all the bad out of the water column. This does need removing from the system which is why its best to get a good volume of clean and fresh saltwater back into the system. It will need a good replenishment of trace elements after the completed cycle.

i agree with niko on this.

Okay :) I did a 30%ish water change after my cycle

You can do larger water changes without a problem as long as the new water matches your tank parameters for ph, salinity, and temperature.

I used tap water with my 56 gal tank, noticed the nitrates were high in my tap water so I bought an r/o unit and have performed two 25 gal water changes to bring the nitrates down. The fish and invertebrates are all fine. I bought a new 32 gal trash can which I mixed the water in and have a heater in there. When its ready I siphoned out 25 gal, then pumped the water in from the trash can into the tank with a mag drive.
