Looks like where I went local pet shop they had signs up saying sorry but we are redoing our lighting and filters, come back in a month. This was not WalMarts btw but it was a carnage just the same. Why order fish when you KNOW you are going to change the lights and what not?
This was a month ago and I went back today, things sadly have not improved grrrrrrr
i'm gathering up evidence. i go there once every week or so and take pictures of dead fish. trust me. something WILL be done with this walmart. im not saying every walmart treats their fish horribly. the other walmart near me takes better care of the fish. i just dont see why they cant hire people who actually KNOW about fish / people who arent too lazy to take care of the poor things so they arent dying to the point to where it looks like a fish holocaust.

They did! But management insisted that those workers help out with other departments. Then they found themselves forced to work more in other departments and eventually quit all together.
I do not work at Walmart, but I am guessing that there isn't really a "fish department" like there is a hardware dept. or plumbing dept at Lowes or Home Depot. I assume the fish duty is shared. Can anyone confirm this assumption?
