I've seen and heard more responses than I can take regarding light requirements for a BT nem.
If the nem is less than 12" from the light, how much wattage is necessary? I've heard 3+...is 3 wpg truly enough for a bubble tip or are these sources dreaming?

There does seem to be a huge variance in opinion when it comes to anemone lighting.

I can tell you that from my own research, BTA would do fine in 3 wpg. It helps if you have individual reflectors for each light. I've heard they would *like* more light than that, but with more frequent feedings they should be fine.

I think long tentacle anemones would be okay in that wattage too.

This is just what I've been told by experienced hobbyists in my area, so take it with a grain of salt...or ask me how my LTA is doing in a few years.
