Dont turn the light off ! :(

I don't have brackish fish but I had that problem too, but I put in moonlights not because of this reason but just because it looks neat, and then they didn't do that, try that out, and use the adaptors for car LED lights instead of the "moonlights" the car ones work just as well, there is a set-up in the DIY
 
Ahh I jinxed myself! The next night after posting they stopped working! ahh, lol, just returned the lights and got new ones! whew!

sorry about the broken link, looks like the thread has been removed, i will make a DIY moon light sometime and post it
 
I use an 18" Black Light on my 150 gallon for moon light.
I got replacement bulbs at Spensers @ the mall. <-- HAHA
I do have a 48" black light that I do not use very often.
