Double 40 gallon stand

Have you tested your canister to see if it will have enough water flow for the top tank of your stand. Your looking at over 5 feet high.

No. I have a Aquatop 400 and Eheim 2215 I plan to use for my river tank but for the top tank, I am most likely going to get a Eheim 2217 or Aquaclears as it will be lighter in weight as it is either going to be a grow out or qt tank.
I think I am going to build the stand for one of the 40g to see how the wood stand holds up the 600 lbs. Probably something like this video from Ted:

Looks easy to build. Of course I am going to need a center brace for the middle.
