This is what us Aussies call a Longcoat Rex (the oversized black one)

Long fur, with curls! His fur sits more in wavey locks in these photos for some reason.
The lil' greyish coloured one I threw in 'cause she's cute. Hand raised lil' people mouse. She's just longcoat.

I love mice! I had a few rescued feeders when I was in my teens. They're so cute and friendly!
 
lol yes, he is a real sweetie. I travelled 8 hours to get Doug from a breeder, & I'm glad I did.
He sits & begs at his cage door when I have people over, wanting out to see everyone & get treats. Little attention seeker, he is.

Hopefully will get more like him in a litter that's due on the 21st of March. I'll make sure to post some photos for everyone to see, as there will be yak mouse babies in it too :)

EDIT: Mice are like the Bettas of the rodent world. Females can be kept together, but may still fight, & males need to be housed seperate. They also come in heaps of different colours.

And this, dear friends, is the same mouse at 4.5 weeks old. He's got his Siamese brother next to him in this pic too, who's coat is a bit better.
