Dragon goby had an olive nerite snail.

This morning I woke up to find an olive nerite snail in my dragon gobys mouth.
He quickly took it into his cave with him. I would think the snail would be to large for him to swallow. I have been gone most of the day, have not yet done a snail head count to make sure they are all alive and well.
Hoping he was just giving the snail a good algae cleaning scrub, and spit it back out.

Lupin seems to be fainting a lot lately...

I suppose, if it fits into its mouth and it can catch it, its going to try to eat it...silly goby

They are filter feeders. Most likely he spit it out. Mine carries rocks around and spits them out in different areas in the tank etc always rearranging something maybe he was unhappy with the snails location

Just an update, I was able to count 6 happy, healthy olive nerite snails today!
They are all accounted for, no snails in the dragon's tummy!
