i currently have a dragon goby and i was wanting to get some cleaner shrimp (probably ghosts) but i was wondering if the goby would eat them or not,any info would be very helpful.

I disagree unless it's a fullsize violet goby. The throats on these guys are tiny which is why they are filter feeders.

They aren't able to swallow anything very large. I have one at about 10" and mysis and bloodworms are about the upper limit. You are correct, they do not see well at all, and they might suck up a shrimp when they are filtering, but anything much larger than a baby will most likely be spit out, certainly something the size of a full grown ghost shrimp.

also, RE the area you chose to post in....you realize these are brackish fish, right?

The dragon gobies that I am familiar with have guppies, mollies and guppy babies in with them and they all seem fine, haven't noticed any one missing, then again this is at a store and so I don't stare at it all day, but do see them fairly frequently (boyfriend works there).
