What is your dream aquarium?
MIne is a 500 gallon freshwater planted aquarium with all types of tropical fish.

Yeah, that is basically that. With discus and rainbow fish and enough schooling tetras to boggle your mind. For as beautiful as salt water fish are, planted fresh water are so much nicer to me, green is so beautiful.

I couldn't do one tank. I'd like to ideally do a 300g reef set up, a 150 Amazon biotope, a 55 shellie biotope, another with Malawi's in a 150 and several others. If I was given the chance though, and the materials, money and time, I'd probably do the saltwater tank.

Probably a 600g freshwater. After browsing some boards I've seen some nice ones built into a wall, and they sweet! I dont think I could handle multiple tanks, I prefer to focus on one "showcase". Maybe to break the 1000g mark would be cool....

hmmm a house made out of bullit proff glass, scratch proof, with heaters all arround, with walls that are 20 feet wide... i would like a min of 10000gals... and some supper nicefilter system.. And the list of ideas go on :D

I'm with Teelie I don't think I could stay with just one. A 200 and another 5 to 10 from 20 to 80 gals for all types. One of them with discus would be cool they are so neat looking, but they seem to be a pain in the rear if you don't have the right kind of water out of the ground. I love the smaller fish so I wouldn't really need a bunch of big tanks, they would all need to be planted though, only way to go.

i'd also have to do more than one

ok, i'm changing mine, lol

340g i found on glasscages.com that's more than 10 feet long, built into my wall above the couch with bala sharks for hubby
180g (72x24x24) with a wild color oscar, 2 fire eels, and a trinidad pleco
75g with congo tetras
30g long with the fish i have now, plus a couple female gouramis and more otos

and a custom long tank, probably 4-5 feet long x12"x12" and all divided up with BETTAS! ^_^

i'll probably think of more the longer i'm in this hobby too.

oh yes, and ALL the tanks will be planted, some more heavily than others, but all will have plants.

A full house basement with glass floors.

I only have a 10 g so I would settle for anything bigger. I would like a 40g, and nothing bigger, or it would just be a pain in the butt to clean. And with a lot of tropical fish.

Ahh imagination time loll.
Well I would do two, one saltwater and one freshwater. Both about 180 -200 Gallons. Its pretty practical, if you have the time and money. I am looking forward to getting a 180g saltwater setup one day. I dont know jack about saltwater, but I can learn lol!
