Step three...

No stand needed..

1) You have $800
2) List what you would buy for a 75/90 gal set up, from tank thru all necessary stuff.
3) Tank, heater, filter, test kit, conditioner, thermometer, substrate, decor, light/hood, fish, don't worry about a stand.
4) Use advertised prices for your area, or internet prices as you find them.
5) Conservative stocking and reasonable compatibility.
6) Be specific as to brand and model.

go....

Rena XP3 = $75 (I know this expired but I picked some up then so it's cheating a little :silly: )

Stocking plan 1:
250 neon tetras = $250

5 for 5 deal from Petsmart

Stocking plan 2:
Pair of dovii OR umbies < $200

Stocking plan 3:
10 x 1" RBP = 10x5 = $50
Grow 'em out a little bit, then buy as many piraya and caribe as I can afford at the same size.

^ Either of those plans should be easy enough to get from private sales.

Stocking plan 4:
1 x Jardini Aro : $50-75
Neptune's Reef in Torrance, Tong's Tropical on Vermont next to USC, bunch of other places I'm sure

Anything the Jardini won't kill with the rest of the money.

Edit:However much it costs for some black acrylic paint and a brush. I prefer BB tanks so no substrate

Wow...250 neons....

800 bucks is about 593 euros. I couldn't even get the tank over here for that. My 180L (46USG) set me back 500 euros on its own without anything else.
