Dreaming Fish? Panicy Discus

One of my discus went mad a couple of nights ago.

I heard a commotion in the tank.
Splashing and banging as if one tried to get out.

I have 3 discus, after I switched the light on, one was slightly on its side, had its fins clamped and was breatheing very slowly (not fast as you would expect, slow!).

The other two were hugging together (and they usually keep fighting).

Q1: Do fish dream? Did it have a nightmare?

Q2: Is it anything known? A desease? Parasites?

Water parameters are fine.

The tank has 3 juv discus, and 4 small fry.
 
Just as a precaution....check your heater and any electronic devices in the water. I had a fish that would really freak out sometimes for no reason. It started on day and I didn't think anything special of it till I noticed that the fish in the tank hid from me a lot more lately (about a 2 week period) I wondered why sometimes he would quickly dart across the tank to get away from me when I came close to the tank, and other times I would be in the room for a while and suddenly he would speed across the tank smacking into the glass, rocks and other decor.....obviously very stressed!

I finally caught on that something was different lately and I read a post about heaters leaking current into the tank. I went and checked my heater and saw some slight (very slight) moisture on part of the inside. I actually took it out of the tank to look closer. I saw no aparent cracks or defects, but as I was looking it over and checking the seal at the top, It suddenly gave way and cracked a good portion of the top of the whole heater! There was obviously a slight hairline fracture at the top of the glass next to the seal. It took very little pressure to cause the larger crack. This made it hard to detect a flaw, since there was no obvious leak, and only minute amounts of moisture in the tube. I'm VERY glad that I read that post when I did, since it made me look closer at my heaters than I would normally think to. It took a while for my fish to revert back to his old behavior, but he has and is very interactive again. (Blackbelt Cichlid)

Chances are, it's not a damaged heater, but who knows?
