Driftwood added. How's the new layout ?

Dude, thats a cool looking tank! I like the clear look with no background; id have it with the original amount of plants but without the background.

Any ideas how long moss takes to grow (Java Moss)?

Also how do you clean gravel with that many plants in? Mine has a few plants but dont wanna disturb when I clean.

Java moss is a moderate grower. Tied to wood, it should be in good shape within 2 months.

Is that a tank from ADA? I love the rimless look and wish I had one. I will get one from that place in TN when I can afford it, meanwhile I'll drool at yours.

I'm not sure how much tanks are in the US, but I got mine here in Singapore for $20. Tanks are very cheap here. This is no brand to the tank, as such its totally clean and unmarked. Its probably made by a local glass shop.

I got it because it looks like an ADA, although the quality may not be the same. The glass is quite thin, and when I fill it all the way up to the rim, it is uneven.

I find my lighting system, fan and filter quite a clutter. If only I could afford a metal halide pendant, or I could fabricate something.

Thanks guys.

As the driftwood still floats, I place it under the riccia block (also a piece of wood). Do u think it looks wierd ? I know this wont happen in nature.

Yeah, I don't like the look. I think once it stops floating, you should definitely put it over the riccia.
