I went on a driftwood hunt yesterday at a local lake and picked up some new driftwood... FREE!

Here it is after wire wheeling the loose stuff off which also raises the grain. I think it's more appealing that way.
I got 2 pieces. The first piece is 36 in long and the second is 24 in long.
As you can see I have many positions for each piece to choose from. One or both of these will go into the 75gal once I make a stand and light canopy for it.

Very nice pieces. Anyone ever used Driftwood from the ocean in their fish tanks ? reason i ask is that my Parents are coming out from British Columbia to see our newborn baby and if they could scoop some up for me that would be great i'm just worried about the salt it may have soaked up and how this would affect water prematures in a freshwater tank.
