What type of wood is your driftwood? i live in Missouri and picked up several nice pieces from a local lake, but was told I shouldn't use them because I believe they are cedar.

Red cedar driftwood is fine so long as it's weathered enough not to ooze sap anymore. I've used it in plenty of my tanks. Booyaa's driftwood is aged beyond the point of identification; driftwood in our area (I live a couple counties over) includes lots of hardwoods and red cedar, with some pine as well.
