What does wood (driftwood) do to the water in my tank? does it make the water hard or soft? and any clue on what fish and live in thoes conditions besides bettas?
Thanks
I think driftwood will tend to lower pH because it is (slowly) decaying, and it is a continuing process.
Hardness, on the other hand, is a measure of the numbers of mineral ions in water, and I don't think this is directly affected by driftwood
