driftwood N moss

There's also certain woods to avoid. Do you know what kind of wood it is?

And I would go with Java Moss too.

I would not question anyones claim to be able to do anything. I respect that. But to answer the question, I am from Bombay, India. Getting a snap uploaded didnt cross my mind and seems slim but would try, maybe if only to be better informed. However, I am very finicky as to what I put in the tank as its really going good at the moment and would like to take the safe route. Would pick up some from a pet shop or other reliable source.

Oh, theres a page two. Am new here and my navigation is not too good. Mellovisions Vision:-) is quite similar to mine.I like to have something not bought and different from what everyone has in a pet store The reason why I am called a lunatic by most friends and family is cause I always snoop around rivers, streams etc and come back with various things, some not too attractive. My girlfriend shared my opinion until recently, while picking up driftwood, a snake fell of a tree just in front of us. I think the snake was more scared of her and I nearly lost my hearing.

I really really doubt that anyone would be able to ID a moss correctly with a picture. You need a powerful microscope to do that. Many mosses don't even have a classification yet, and some names are being changed because the moss was classified wrong. http://www.aquarticles.com/articles/plants/Leong_Mosses.html

I say you put in a vase or something to see if it'll grow, or if anything is living in it. Then you can try it in your tank.

Since none of my fish are sick by the grace of God, I would take your suggestion sammie and try it out in my hospital tank.
