driftwood

Any reccomendations on what wood makes the best/hardiest driftwood? I'm guessing just about any hardwood (provided it's "processed"), right?

There is a Malaysian Driftwood which is highly recommended. The gear your RELIABLE LFS sells should be good.

African driftwood is also very good. I have lots of this.

Great news, the driftwood I have been soaking for over three months (Which I left out in the sun!) Has finally stopped leaching tannins. I left it in the sun for a week and decided to give it one more go and it worked!!
