I've been looking at driftwood, on ebay and other sale sites, and I'm more confused that ever (careful there..).
WHat kind should I get. I thougth Malaysian driftwood the way to go, but someone mentioned cypress.
You see the fish I have listed...and I want to be sure and have what's good for the ple*o. WHat do people suggest?
Malayasian driftwood
cypress driftwood
hardwood driftwood
or whatever...?

my lfs recomended Malayasian driftwood for my clown plecos..... ? but I dont know if different kinds of plecos like differnt wood?

Nursie, update us on what you get and how it goes...I've been tossing around the idea of driftwood forever now, but I'm still afraid of it messing with the ph and I won't have time to monitor things as well as I would like so I'm holding off for now

Nursie, i hear it is the malaysian driftwood, mostly because it will sink on its own, and not release as many tanins.

I believe the driftwood I have in my tanks is malaysian....and that stuff is like a rock ! No problems with this stuff stayin put !

I do have some cypress in my viveriums for the darts.....it's probably a very good wood to use in aquariums as well since it doesn't rot.
