I'm going to be doing a drip acclimation on my clown loaches so I can move them to my 75g. Is it good to have an air stone in with the loaches while I do this? I plan to let enough water drip in to double the volume, then remove 1/2 the water and repeat a few times. Trying to be gentle with moving the clowns since they tend to get ick so easy. That along with my hospital tanking having a pH of 6.2 and my 75g having a pH of 7.2 (using the same tap water source).

An airstone is not really needed (depending on the water volumn in the bucket/bag). I would add a drop of prime though.

What size are the Clown Loaches??

I would use a 5gal bucket . At least 2gal to start with, and add that drop or 2 of prime.
