Dropped bagged fish on the floor!

Good luck, I hope he's alright! I dropped my new BN plec on the floor after acclimation (stuck to bag) & after 2 weeks I decided he's ok. I panicked & scooped him up with a cereal box cardboard.

the cardboard would acctually be WORSE than your bare hand IMO

This has never happened to me... but I am always super-cautious and hold the bag by its bottom at all times

When I set my first 75 g up, I purchased 8 quarter size angels for it. I had them sitting on the floor in a 1 gallon pitcher drip acclimating them and my cat turned the pitcher over. I scooped them all off the floor and put them in the tank. They all made it no worser for wear.

good luck, hope the angel fish does ok. :) my kids were "helping" me bring in a bag of live brine shrimp and dropped it on the floor which was carpet over concrete w/out great padding. It promptly exploded brine shrimp everywhere. The rub........ carpet and shrimp were same shade.
AAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH

Ugh!!!! That must have been bad!

I remember when I bought my marbled sailfin pleco I put him on the passenger seat in my truck on the way home. Some lady runs a red light and slams on her brakes when shes half way into the intersection about 10-15 yards in front of me, I hit my brakes and the bagged up sailfin flies and hits the dash board deflects up to the windshield and lands back onto the seat. I politely told the lady how i felt :D, and went home and drip acclimated him. Luckily he was double bagged. I buckle up all my fish purchases now LOL.

I had a fish jump out of a tank in my basement and into a kitty litter box, the fish was fine but I was scarred from the experience.

When I got my first Otos I was planning on being soooooo careful. Everyone goes on about how delicate they are so I wanted to properly acclimate them. I wanted to float the bag in the tank, and opened the top of the bag to anchor it on the lid. The bag slipped and there went the Otos from bag to tank in less than a minute. Everyone survived with no problems whatsoever.

i dropped one of my otos on my dresser a few days ago!!!! all three are still alive so far!!!!! :)
