Hi

I'm just wondering if my leopard danio is suffering from dropsy or if it's just overweight.

It's been like this for about 8 weeks now but it's very active in the tank and it's stomach was a little larger for a couple of days then went down a bit about 7 weeks ago.

I've managed to take a few pictures of it which can be seen at http://s1379.photobucket.com/user/Chris_Frankland/library/leopard danio, now the rest of my leopard and zebra danios are quite slim apart from this one.

Cheers

Chris

Yeah, can't see the photos.

Dropsy basically looks like pine-coning. It's a symptom that usually means it's too late. The scales literally stick out, like so...

If it just ballooned up a bit it could have been a female with eggs (that were dropped), or maybe the system was a bit backed up.

Sorry about that, album has now been set to public, don't know ow why it was private.

When I bought them in august 14 I was told that they where all male

Scales aren't sticking out like the picture, have up loaded some new pictures, just wondering if they where would they also feel like they where sticking up?
