i am currently treating my tank for ich with the salt/higher temp treatment. we realized that a day ago one of my tiger barbs had dropsy, wasnt hardly moving, scales pineconing out, etc, so we euthanized him. now today i am noticing the dominant tiger barb is also showing the same symptoms, i put him in a breeder/qt floating tank to look at him more closely and he has the pineconing/breathing more heavily/not as much movement also. i am pretty sure the answer is no, but just for peace of mind, can the salt i am using witht he salt treatment (2tsp/gal) make them swell at all, or is this definatly dropsy?
