Unfortunately, the flower "died" last night. So sad. This whole flowering bout is making it REALLY difficult to follow through on my plans to get rid of these lotuses:shake:

I've got another flower bud
Its a little tiny bud at the very base of the plant - with the last bud I didn't notice it until it was already pretty big since I wasn't looking for it .
It'll be awhile before it can grow to the surface and blossom but wow....these plants are the coolest

That was a beautiful bloom!
Now, about the fish and other designs on that canopy - are they hand-painted? They look lovely.

Thanks kveeti. Can't wait for the other to bloom Flowers the size of a CD that grow from a fish tank aren't something I'm too used to seeing. Its so neat
I used stencils for the designs. I ended up having to free hand all of the edges because I forgot that the surface was too "grainy" from the wood and that the paint smeared/dripped.
