I recently purchesed the 36" dual satellite with 67k, 10K, and 420,460nm lights. Also has one lunar light

Could someone tell me how they have their timers/light setup for the sunrise/sunset effects. I currently have the actinic come on first then a half hour later the white light comes on. I have also put the white light and fan on the same timer. I am not sure if I should be keeping the lunar light on or not either. As of now I only have two clowns and a gramma. I think they might like it dark anyway. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Anyone use automatic feeders?? I am going away for nine days and was thinking about getting one. Anyone have any horror stories about these?

(I know people are going to tell me to go return the lights and get MH but I am not planning on getting anything too light-demanding right now)

Coralife makes a nice dual light time that that allows you to plug independantly time all three types of lights. Here is a lighting senario that is possilbe with this timer.

timer one
"blue" lights: 7:00am-7:00pm
timer two
"white" lights: 7:30am-7:30pm <dawn/dusk>
"lunar" lights: 7:30pm-7:30am <come on automatically when white is off and vise/versa>

or

timer one
"blue" lights: 7:00am-7:00pm
"white" lights: 7:00am-7:00pm
timer two
"lunar" lights: 7:00pm-12:30am

I've got Satellites on both my 65g planted (swapped actinic for 10 000K) and 14g reef, they're great light fixtures.

Here's my schedule for the 65g:
9:00am 20W fluorescent strip mounted on the wall behind the tank comes on
9:30am 10 000K and the fan come on
10:00am 10 000K/6500K + 110W 9235K fixture come on
9:00pm 10 000K/6500K + 110W 9325K go off
9:30pm 10 000K and fan go off
10:00pm 20W shuts off
Moonlight is always plugged in.

I think it's important for the life of the fixture to turn the fan on with the first light - the less heat in the housing, the better - JMO.
